The bike paradise of the Alps

In the Brixental Valley, you'll find hundreds of kilometers of cycle paths for all abilities—from leisurely family rides through the valley on paved paths to strenuous steep descents on single trails.

Swimming fun in Kirchberg

Purple pools, idyllic swimming lakes, crystal-clear mountain lakes, and mountain streams. Cooling off on hot summer days can be found everywhere in the region, and in its purest form.

The Kirchberg Swimming Lake and leisure complex is just a five-minute walk from the center of Kirchberg. Nestled in a charming landscape, surrounded by forests and meadows, the spacious swimming area with its shady trees offers pure relaxation.

The Kitzbühel Alps Summer Card is your ticket for all 29 summer lifts in the Kitzbühel Alps and their fantastic mountain adventures. In addition, numerous bonus partners such as swimming pools, bathing lakes, museums, outdoor sports providers, and excursion destinations offer Summer Card holders a 25% or 50% discount on the regular price.

Golfers are spoiled for choice here in the Kitzbühel Alps! With 4 fantastic courses in Kitzbühel and another 19 in the surrounding area, the offering is unique in the Alpine region.

Skiing fun in Kirchberg

The Kitzbühel-Kirchberg ski area opens directly in front of our house, with 57 modern cable cars and lifts and 234 kilometers of slopes. The Pengelstein and Fleckalm ski areas are 2 km away, and the Gaisberg lift is 500 m away. From there, you can ski down to our house.

Just a stone's throw from Kirchberg is Austria's largest connected ski area - the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser. Here, slopes as far as the eye can see: 279 km of slopes, 91 state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars, as well as 84 rustic huts and après-ski bars await you. With the Kitzbühel Alps Ski Pass, you can use both ski areas as well as three other ski areas in the Kitzbühel Alps region with one pass.

Tobogganing fun in the Kitzbühel Alps

Our region is a true tobogganing paradise, one that has truly earned its reputation among both locals and tourists. After a sociable hike, you can speed back down into the valley.

The natural toboggan run on the Gaisberg is particularly popular. Those who don't want to climb the mountain on foot can take the 4-seater chairlift directly to the start of the toboggan run in no time. From there, you can start your tobogganing adventure.

Those who can't get enough of tobogganing during the day can enjoy illuminated night tobogganing. The cozy mountain huts along the route invite you to refresh yourself. The toboggan rental is located directly at the valley station.

Operating Hours:
Daytime operation: daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Evening operation: Tuesday to Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Cross-country skiing in untouched nature

The beautiful natural landscape of the Brixental, with its idyllic side valleys, offers a variety of opportunities for enjoyment. Perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails crisscross the valley and seamlessly connect to the networks of the neighboring regions of the Kitzbühel Alps.

A roughly 4.5 km high-altitude trail on Hochbrixen at 1,300 m above sea level, as well as the trail network in Aschau, offer cross-country skiing enjoyment until early spring.

Snowshoeing and winter hiking

From a romantic hike in a snowy forest to a challenging alpine tour, everyone will find their perfect trail with us. Let yourself be enchanted by the typical Tyrolean hospitality in our inns and huts and indulge in unique Tyrolean delicacies – they taste even better after a long winter hike!
